A modern flagship phone can do roughly 500–1,200 H/s on RandomX for short bursts. Thermal throttling usually drops sustained output to half that. Real revenue is small — think cents per day — but it adds up when many fans run Sardene while charging overnight.
The app only mines while plugged in and stops if the battery starts draining. A Force start for 5 minutes button is available for testing on USB-computer connections.
Screensaver mode can auto-start mining after the phone has been idle for a few minutes and shows a full-screen stats view. Tap the screen to stop and return to the app.
